Child/Adolescent Psychotherapy
Child and adolescent psychotherapy seek to help children and young adults with social, emotional, and/or mental health issues that may be exhibited through difficulty regulating their emotions, behaviors, or relationships. This therapeutic approach assists the child/adolescent and their families build healthy habits at home and at school.

Applied Behavior Analysis, also known as ABA therapy, is a type of therapeutic intervention that allows a child to work one-one-one with a clinician to address and decrease problem behaviors and increase positive outcomes in social and learning settings.

Group support therapy is a treatment method that includes the participation of multiple people who often attend based on a shared experience or trauma. In group support therapy, the clinician may ask questions to help encourage the group to speak on their personal experiences and emotions. This style of therapy often helps people feel that they are less alone in their struggles. Here at Brighter Hope Wellness Center, we provide group support therapy for domestic and sexual assault, led by clinician Claire Green.

Family and marriage therapy is a specialized form of therapy that addresses the interpersonal relationship between family members and/or marriage partners. It helps both the individual and the family unit build healthier relationships through trust and understanding by focusing on communication, problem behaviors, and proper problem-solving techniques.

We conduct full psychological evaluations and Autism spectrum disorder testing.
The psychological evaluation assesses an individual’s cognitive abilities, such as memory, problem solving skills, and intellectual functioning through a series of tasks. Autism testing involves experienced medical professionals examining a person’s developmental history and behavior, while interviewing and observing the person and their loved ones, and use professional screening and diagnostic tools to make a diagnosis.
