This treatment involves a practitioner placing their hands just above or lightly on your body, depending on your comfortability level, to transfer healing energy while you lie on a table or sit in a chair. This practice is based on Japanese medicine beliefs that all living beings have energy fields that when in balance and harmony, can support health, stability, and peace.

How does Reiki Therapy Work??
Reiki complements treatments for human disorders and diseases, including depression, anxiety, and various chronic conditions while showing significant improvements in the emotional, physical, psychological, and social dimensions. Reiki also assists in reducing clinically relevant stress and may reduce normal levels of stress.
During a Reiki session, the practitioner assesses the energy centers on the body for imbalance/balance and then places hands on or above energy centers in specific positions for a specific time. Reiki is often used with other forms of healing, including medicine, surgery, and psychotherapy.
