For more than 13 years, I have dedicated my career to healthcare, with nine of those years spent on the neuroscience unit at Johns Hopkins Hospital. During that time, I cared for a wide range of patients and developed a deep appreciation for the connection between physical and mental health. As I transition from bedside nursing to advanced practice, I aim to bring a strong scientific foundation, clinical expertise, and a compassionate approach to psychiatric care.
I am passionate about providing holistic, evidence-based treatment and partnering with each patient to improve their mental health and overall well-being. In my clinical practice, I strive to create a safe, collaborative environment where patients feel heard, understood, and supported.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Minor in Psychology from Lycoming College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Towson University, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Wilkes University. Outside of work, I enjoy cheering on the Ravens, attending my children’s activities, taking walks with my wife, and spending time outdoors.
