Sieanna Holstein, M.A. Psychology Associate

Sieanna Holstein, M.A. Psychology Associate at Brighter Hope Wellness Center

Healing begins in spaces where people feel safe enough to be seen, heard, and understood without judgment. I believe therapy is a collaborative process rooted in safety, trust, and curiosity.

My clinical interests include providing comprehensive psychological evaluations for individuals experiencing concerns related to ADHD, learning difficulties, autism, trauma, mood disorders, and behavioral challenges. I also enjoy offering therapy to children and adolescents who may be navigating issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, sexual assault, and exposure to domestic violence, as well as difficulties in peer or family relationships.

I have received training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and my therapeutic approach is psychodynamic, integrative, and person-centered. I work with clients across the lifespan, from children to older adults, and conduct psychological testing for all age groups.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Towson University and my master’s degree in Psychology from Stevenson University, where I am currently completing my third year in the Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) program. My practicum experiences have included Brighter Hope Wellness Center and Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital. Before my clinical training, I worked as a Direct Support Professional for neurodivergent adults, a Program Instructor at the Hussman Center for Adults with Autism, and a Clinical Assistant at Kennedy Krieger Institute. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation and understanding of the unique strengths and challenges of individuals from diverse backgrounds and with varied presenting concerns.

In my free time, I enjoy going to the dog park with my husky, traveling, and spending time on the lake. I am currently welcoming new clients. I believe that every person’s story deserves to be met with compassion, curiosity, and a sense of hope.
