My path to becoming a therapist has been anything but traditional—and that’s what makes it so meaningful to me. For 19 years, I worked as a hairstylist, creating a safe space where women felt comfortable sharing their lives. Over time, I realized many of those conversations carried something deeper: unresolved trauma, unspoken struggles, and a longing to be truly heard.
That realization inspired me to pursue my passion for mental health. Today, I’m a Certified Master Life Coach, Reiki Master Teacher, Certified Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Practitioner, and a Psychotherapy Associate in training under the supervision of Dr. Cindy T. Graham. I graduated in July 2024 with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Counseling from Capella University, and my next goal is to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
I feel called to walk alongside women healing from childhood sexual trauma, depression, anxiety, and PTSD, as well as those navigating life transitions such as perimenopause and menopause. I also have experience supporting individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities, those on the Autism Spectrum, and others navigating a wide range of mental health challenges.
At the heart of my work is a simple truth: healing happens in safe, supportive spaces. My mission is to hold that space—where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow.
When I am not working with clients, I enjoy meditation, traveling to warm places, and spending quality time with grandchildren and my cats!
Accepting new clients? Yes.
