I graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a degree in public health and am a current graduate student at Walden University pursuing a master’s degree in social work. I hope to graduate in the Spring of 2023 and become a licensed master social worker (LMSW) in the state of Maryland.

Being a certified yoga teacher, I have a key interest in mindfulness, meditation, and breathing techniques to help cultivate balanced relationships with the self and others. With a background working in substance abuse treatment, I have a strong passion for mental health awareness, social justice, and helping others. My goal at Brighter Hope Wellness Center is to gain as much insight and knowledge as possible to enhance my understanding of the social work role and use this experience as a stepping stone into a professional career.
